In 2002 Jürgen Kindermann started working as a developer for the Creamware company in Siegburg. For 20 years Creamware produced affordable, market-leading DSP solutions and innovative musical instruments. In search of a good-sounding converter for his own DSP accelerator card with audio interface, the original A16, a 19“ converter with a pure design, was born. By reducing the control and indicating elements, the A16 came in at an attractive price, and with the widely used ADAT digital connection, a long term sales hit.
