During the webinar, E-rate expert Ronald Sheps discussed how end-users and administrators can maximize their technology investments through E-rate funding. As the new funding requirements encourage IT administrators to migrate their education-based technologies towards wireless solutions, Carousel is able to provide best of breed managed services to support the challenges they will face in maintaining and operating their new technology infrastructures.
“With the new E-rate funding in now firmly in place, education markets will become much more dependent on mobile solutions and wireless networking,” Commented Jeffrey Hewson, National Sales Director, Data Networking Group at Carousel Industries.”And as the technology requirements at educational institutions become more complex, Carousel is extremely well positioned to help administrators derive the greatest possible value out of investments by taking on critical tasks such as network maintenance and operation.”
According to E-rate expert Ronald Sheps, any school regardless of size, will be guaranteed a minimum of $9,200 to bring that facility up to a Wi-Fi standard, regardless of size, as education institutions begin a migration away from voice-related services.
